Who is Crissy Speaks?

Cristina, aka Crissy! Is a multi-talented entertainment journalist and on-air correspondent from Queens New York City. Cristina has  been involved in music, media, and entertainment all her life. From singing solo’s to performing in various plays, and school functions she developed a love for her craft, and attended  The world- renowned Choir Academy of Harlem, where she was classically trained and performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden. 

She then attended a Medgar Evers College where she immediately joined the radio station club and Co-hosted her first radio show In The Loop. After graduating with her AA in Mass Communication and Radio Broadcasting, still eager to learn more, she then went to Brooklyn College and started a second successful radio show, “Lip Chat”. A show based on local, national, and entertainment news. She was heard on mywbcr.com and 1190AM radio. Before graduating with a B.A. in Television and Radio she interned at Hot 97.1FM where she assisted in daily programming, content logs and news. Blogging for the site, communicating with listeners, and greeting and preparing guests. 

Shortly after, she became a correspondent with What’s The 411, The award winning entertainment and lifestyle television show.  It was there were she has interviewed legendary Hiphop pioneer “Big Daddy Kane”. Grammy Award winning Jennifer Hudson, and Super Model And star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia Baileyjust to name a few. She continues to host and interview a wide range of celebrities and up and coming artists. Utilizing her positive personality to capture fun and informative segments. Crissy is known for having an amazing form of communication skills and a inviting demeanor that pulls you in.
